A Library…In a Telephone Booth?
A bookstore in a telephone booth. Unconventional, yes. Yet it is incredibly awesome at the same time.
I stumbled upon this earlier this afternoon and was immediately captivated by the honesty patrons of this free library have to show. Those who want to utilize it simply leave a book they have already read and take one they wish to read. Completely on the honor system and from what the article states I’ve gathered that people are lining up every day to take advantage of this. I don’t think there are any telephone booths in Hancock, MI, but I’d like to see something like this show up.

They have something like this in the “T” in Boston. They really should put some phone booths in Hancock, though (cell phone reception fails, particularly in a disaster when you need it most, cell phones get lost or the batteries die). Tech students could see how many could squeeze in there…
